Nice Etiquette To Follow When Going To Free Movies

By Dominique Martin

Nowadays, people can enjoy a lot of things. They can go on a date at amusement parks or visit a spa to unwind. They can look for all-you-can-eat restaurants and pig out. Out of the various entertaining activities available to people these days, visiting a theater to enjoy free movies should be one of those at the top of the list.

It is definitely a fun activity that anyone can indulge in. There is no need to pay anything at this. However, you better bring your etiquette with you when you go to a theater. There are simple etiquette that people have to follow when they are watching films. Here are those etiquette that one should observe.

First, you have to keep your cellphone in silent mode. In fact, it is better if you just turn it off for the entire show time if the film or leave it at the comfort of your own home. If you do that, then you do not have to annoy your seatmates when you have to take a call in the middle of a very moving climax scene.

Your feet needs a comfortable place for it to rest. However, that does not mean that it is acceptable for you to rest your feet at the backrest of the seat in front of you even though there is a person sitting in there. You have to have to courtesy to behave when there are other people sitting beside you, in front of you, or behind you.

No taking pictures. It is an illegal act and you may get fined for it. There is actually nothing more annoying for the people in the dark room off of the theater than a phone or a camera flashing intermittently. Not only can that be distracting, you will also be annoying them.

When you want to talk, you better do it in a whisper. Do not be too loud in a theater. Just like in a library, silence is highly appreciated. Otherwise, it will be awful for the others in the theater when you shout out loud or when you keep on talking to the person you came with in a very audible voice.

It is forbidden to actually make out in a theater. Some people actually think of the theater as a substitute for the hotel. That is so not okay. You should never make out when there are children around or when there is a crowd. Even if the place is deserted, you should behave yourself.

Pee breaks are fine as long as you minimize the instances where you have to go to the bathroom. In fact, it is highly recommended for you to go on a pee break only once for the entire duration of the film. If you are the type to get the call of nature every now and then, then make sure to go to the bathroom before the start of the film showing.

Snacking is not forbidden but you have to be mindful of your surrounding. Do not let the noise of your cellophane echo all throughout the theater. You should chew your crunchy junk foods slowly and quietly too. No one will appreciate it if you take a snack noisily and messily.
