Requirements For Completing Comptia Course Certification

There are various specialization options depending on the field you wish to work in. Among the options is System Security Plus which specializes in network infrastructure, access control and organizational safety. You will acquire necessary skills to perform deterrence and mitigation, cryptography, identity management as well as network attack and vulnerability assessment. It ushers you into a very lucrative IT career.

IT Technician Plus is open to individuals who have completed both basic practical and technical exam. For you to enjoy the benefits of this course, it is recommended that you have experience in the field or in the lab as an entry level technician. By the end of the training, an individual can install, upgrade, configure and maintain PC workstations in any environment.

Linux Plus targets individuals hoping to become operators, troubleshooters, administrators and installers of the Linux Operating System. It offers something more than what beginners possess. With this certification you qualify to advance your skills and become an Oracle Certified Associate.

CompTIA Plus Network Certificate targets individuals interested in network configuration, media and installation. To become an Installation Specialist, Network Support Technician or a System Administrator, you will be required to have the certificate. The concepts covered in this course are global and can be applied in multiple sectors. With these skills you can advance to Cisco Certified Network Associate and MS MCSE/MCITP, among others.

Server Plus certification trains you to handle the software and hardware parts of servers. With the skills you acquire, you can configure, diagnose, install and troubleshoot servers. You will study more about expansion cards and the supporting architecture of servers which gives you necessary skills to upgrade and configure their firmware systems.

There are two basic examinations that are mandatory before registering for any of the above courses. They are A Plus 220-801 and A Plus 220-802. The aim of the 801 exam is to introduce you to computer basics. You also will learn how to install, configure and network laptops, desktops and their related hardware devices.

A Plus 802 deals with installing and configuring operating systems for PCs and mobile devices. You will manage the communication network and connectivity features in a customized environment. It also allows you to work on emails and other communication channels. You will understand how to work with Apple iOS and Android operating systems.

There are ninety multiple choice and performance based questions to be answered. The examination takes ninety minutes to complete. To take full advantage of this training, six months of lab or field experience are required.

There are two modes of study open to candidates seeking certification. They are school based and online programs. The learning centers have provided instructions in such languages as Spanish, Japanese, German, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese, among others. The exam is marked out of 900 with a minimum score of 675 to 700.
