Benchtop OCXO 10MHZ Frequency Reference Has Many Features

Several features are offered on the benchtop OCXO 10MHZ frequency reference machine. The tool is an oscillator that is controlled by an oven. This oven with this oscillator is kept at the same temperature setting. This machine employs a stress compensated cut crystal. The instrument has for its primary reference a crystal that performs highly. The cut of a crystal affects the way it performs.

This status relay is joined to the panel of the rear connector.

Because the device is monitored on a continuous basis with special built-in circuitry, it is protected from faults. When the device is transient, its input and output is being protected.

This item has indicator lights that will light up to indicate what is happening. The oven indicator light turns on when the oven is on. The fault indicator light turns on when a fault occurs. The alert indicator light turns on when an alert occurs.

The product is incredibly stable. The reason the equipment age well is because of the stress compensated crystal it uses. For this equipment each year, its stability is reported to be fifty billion parts per billion. The stress compensated crystals help maintain the stability of the equipment. Multiple output configurations are available on this machine. The output configurations consist of ten channels. The instrument is offered with its own bench chassis. This bench chassis is transportable and may be used within a laboratory.

To help improve the performance of an oven controlled oscillator, the GPS or the global positioning system may be used. This oscillator may be GPS locked. After this oscillator has been GPS locked, a global positioning system is ready to be used. The GPS will add to the stability of the device. The oven managed oscillator may be used in several applications. A few applications include: broadcasting, defense, science, telecommunications, calibration.
