Considering their popularity in various places in all corners of the world, Samsung has managed to scope a great deal of consumers with their target being on the younger generation who has been behind its establishment over the years. Samsung phones have considerably gained popularity over time due to their reputation in maintaining consistency in delivery by constantly improving their models; hence, giving consumer more value for their money.

In comparison to some of the top brands in the market, Samsung arguable stands out due to their known quality. For instance, their latest model the Samsung galaxy S5 is in more than one way advanced than most mobile phones offered in the market such as the iPhone 5s which to some extent possess a threat to this brand as it has also managed to scope a certain percentage of the market share.

First of all, galaxy S5 has android 4.4.2 as its operating system which is also the latest version while iPhone 5s on the other hand uses IOS. Give it popularity; it is apparent that android is the preferred operating system as it offers a variety of apps in its store. In addition, this version of android makes it possible to access all applications as it is the latest version and therefore supports all apps.

At this day and age, the younger generation seems to prefer phones that are as big as tablet so it can be easy to browse the internet and chatting with their friends. The S5 model is 5.1 inches big with the screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels while on the other hand, the iPhone is in a smaller size of 4 inches with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels.

In this case the rear and front cameras are very critical as people want to keep their friends updated on the events happening in their lives by sharing photos of their different occasions. Samsung have outdone themselves this time round as they have a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 2.1 megapixel front camera which is the most advance feature that most gadgets have in the market.

Having an advanced processor in this case is very critical which Samsung has definitely delivered as people cannot stand the idea of their gadgets hanging while they are in the middle of their important business. While the galaxy S5 has a quad core, the iPhone 5s has a dual core processor which they are both easy to work with also the quad core is more advanced.

The internal size or in other words the memory size is vital to most consumers as they want to store their photos, favorite songs and videos on these gadgets and more so install various applications without feeling like the memory will be filled. In this regards, having slots that support a microSD is crucial as it help extend the memory and disk space.

To sum up, having a longer battery life is among the critical features that consumers consider when shopping for these gadgets. For this, the galaxy S5 has a standby time of 390 hours and a talk time of 21 hour which allows one to go about their business without going out of battery charge and only charging when retiring for the day.
