An agreement is usually created when there are certain jobs that need to be completed by a professional within a specific time. This kind of agreement is referred to as a JOC. Contractors normally utilize these JOCs so long as they have agreed with the owner and come to a common price agreement as well. The contractor then handles the job that he/she is required to handle within the set time. This agreement has several rules and a code that should be followed. Usually, this agreement is utilized for projects that have been well defined. Also, recurring jobs are used for this agreement. All jobs that are required to be done quickly also utilize the JOC. This kind of agreement is appropriate for repetitive work. For instance, small renovation jobs are excellent for this kind of contract. The agreement allows the contractor to have a longer relationship when undertaking the various jobs that have been issued under the agreement. Therefore, professionals can take JOC in case there are any recurring jobs that they are supposed to handle. The contractors are usually selected and the unit price becomes fixed.

Normally, the term for JOC is one year. The contractor can then decide to renew or terminate the agreement. These are the two options that are granted at the discretion of the University. When the previous agreement expires, the contractor can decide to renew or terminate the agreement, whichever occurs first. The adjustment of the term is usually updated every year but not necessarily at the beginning of every new term.

The most significant reason for utilizing the JOC is because it is dramatically makes things simple. This means that companies will have an easier time executing their duties. This saves both money and time for the company. Having individual contracts with all the contractors is the best thing to do to avoid turning simple jobs to big nightmares.

Therefore, creating a single agreement that will utilize JOC is advantageous. Thus, a single agreement will cover all the processes that are needed to complete the construction project. As mentioned above, this will dramatically reduce the amount of time in which the project will be completed. This also cuts down overall costs for the project.

This agreement usually has a set of rules and regulations that should be observed. Therefore, executing the projects becomes very easy. When the contractor is selected, he/she meets up with the owner to assess the work at hand. After that, a time-line and price are agreed upon.

Therefore, it is essential to have a JOC if you have a construction project that is running. This will put everything in order and help you to easily control the project. Therefore, select the most capable contractor and come up with the best way to handle the tasks and complete them in time.
