Your folders are now supported with iOS. To utilize this feature, tap the app you want to until it begins to shake, then drag it where you want to drop it. This will create a folder which holds the two apps. The name of the folder will represent the category of what the apps are. You can rename the folder whatever you want.

Keep an eye on the apps currently running on your device. A good number of iPad apps are able to run seemingly in the background at the same time that you are otherwise engaged. If you would like to view the current apps that are running, double click the Home icon. Current apps will show up along the screen's bottom. Using shortcuts can make sending messages easier. One shortcut is to double tap the space bar to enter a period and space after a sentence. You can save time by doing these things automatically instead of manually, so that you can easily send messages to more of your friends.

To add your Google Calender to your Calender app, you'll need to go into your Mail, elect Contacts, and then choose Calenders. Select Add An Account. When prompted for the type, choose Other. Tap the icon Add CaIDAV Account and insert your Google information. Then exit the settings appplication. Next, tap your calendar app. All that you need should be right there.

You view two lines by default when you see new emails. Sometimes, you may want to have a larger preview. Under Settings, tap on Mail. Then choose Contacts, go to Calender, then pick the Preview option to increase the number of lines.

You will find that iPads now have an easy way to be muted. As you might know, previous iPad versions did not have this capability. Previously, you could use the lock switch to either mute the audio or lock the orientation. Now, you can quickly mute your iPad by holding the "down" half of the volume button.

If your children regularly use your iPad and you don't want them exposed to pornography and violence, enable the parental controls. Under settings, you can limit how much mature content they can see. You can restrict mature content, including anything that has nudity or bad language.

There is a way to locate your iPad if it becomes misplaced. In Settings, you will find an option that says iCloud. Insert your Apple ID. Once you do this, the bottom of your screen will flash "Find My iPad" and tap it to turn the feature on. Now if you lose your iPad, all you need to do to find it is go to iCloud.com.

Your pages can be synced with iTunes to share documents with a Mac or PC. Sharing the documents you have isn't that big of a deal anymore because there's the ability for iTunes to work with any platform. Also, you can track and view your PDFs with ease.
